"It is a gift with symbolic value, and perhaps I would not have dared to formulate the "awareness of mission" for myself, but your invitation and your supporting presence confirm this in me. However, the idea of "teaching my entire people" was never far from me. My family celebrated my birthday with this József greeted me with a quote from Attila, and my elementary school headmaster wrote this quote from Ady in my memory book: "Staying as the heir of holy rebellions, desires, and young faiths is not given to everyone..." So I do my job as best I can and as possible... and thank you for your tireless, conscientious work to keep the Video Portrait Gallery alive. This is also a special service."

I heartily congratulate the Magyar Rekorder title, everything they do and the way they operate video value saving is worthy of recognition. History can become a book even after a few years, but especially after a few decades. May God's blessing be with you, I wish you lots of strength for your creative journey. Best regards,

Dear Managing Director, Allow me to thank you for your extremely valuable work now, at the beginning of 2020, after I received my 2nd quality Video Portrait film from you after 8 years. I am doing this despite the fact that I did not apply to you either in 2020 or in 2012, but you suggested filmmaking in a convincing way for me. They were right. I was convinced that not only the reception was friendly and had a good atmosphere, but also that the work organization and filming were world-class and thoroughly prepared. Their work was characterized by directness, professionalism, freedom from party politics, and the presentation of Hungarian talent. This situation made it easier for me, who belongs to the rapidly dwindling generation of Pesti Srácok 56, that even in the most sensitive issues - such as 56, Trianon, European integration or the role of tourism in my profession - let me be honest in both interviews. That is why I emphasized e.g. now on the 100th anniversary of Trianon, that the still existing harmful consequences of the peace decree can only be solved by peaceful means and national unity. The results achieved so far should not be underestimated and efforts should be made to develop friendly relations with all neighboring countries. Of course, the basic condition for this is to ensure the legal rights and autonomy of the Hungarian national minorities in accordance with the standards of the European Union.
We can all make a modest contribution to this in our own area. I am convinced that your work is also very important in this, along with your many other valuable tasks. In this way, we can achieve together that our sons, daughters, and grandchildren also wake up in a happier Central Europe and Hungary. And we are happy to wave from Above. For all of this, I wish you continued success and good health.
With Sincere Esteem and Respect

Their inquiry was a pleasant surprise. It is a pleasure to work with a professional team like yours. They took me back in time a little, the editor's skillful guidance brought back many memories. Creating such a database was a very good idea, it makes history alive for posterity. After all, what else can an era be better understood than from the accounts of living witnesses and personal impressions. If this had existed before, perhaps some details of history would be evaluated differently today. Thank you for the opportunity.

My phone rang. A pleasant alto voice invited me to their studio, a detailed description, and then our exchange of e-mails prompted me to appear. I entered the understatedly elegant residence. The lovely face of Gizella Szabó welcomed me, and then almost immediately came the first surprise, a special "Certificate" addressed to my name. For me, this is already the warm welcome. As soon as I settled down on the comfortable couch, Ferenc Both entered from the other room, and after a short introduction, he proved that he was "perfectly prepared for me". He introduced the program, which felt like something new to me that I had never experienced on any television before. He knew everything exactly, which is an essential moment of a video portrait. We entered the recording room together. Another short conversation that really inspired me. No question, no guidance, which awakened the "sleeping lion" in me. After my introduction, the minutes in front of the camera passed with cloudless improvisation. The final flash is a positive gesture from you: I could immediately review the entire recording in comfortable conditions. The way they introduce their arriving and departing guests to each other is nice.
Thank you, thank you and congratulations!

I am grateful for their work, for which I also heartily congratulate you. The video itself is a masterpiece, based on its concept, structure, atmosphere and many other things, but what meant more to me than that was the awakening of thought, the realization about myself and my identity. In today's fast-paced world, we go about our business every day, but we rarely look back at our past with sufficient awareness and, above all, we rarely put it into words, even saying out loud, where we came from, what we got, what we bring with us, where we are and where we are going, that who are we going with? We know it, we feel it, but saying it is different and that's what we rarely do. I wish you continued success and perseverance in your work!

The Archive edited by you is an important undertaking and also a mission, as it speaks to future generations in this present-focused age. The selected persons come from various sectors of Hungarian society, so the Archive covers almost the entire circle of culture in the broader sense, not only those who are successful in the fields of science and art, but also in the fields of economy and politics. These people are diverse, but they have one thing in common, and that is that they created value with their work and gained the respect of the community. The degree of personal success may vary, but portrait films show more than that; the messages of example in human stories and the personality. This Archive will become truly significant in fifty years, when historians will be looking for reliable information about the researched era or about a famous person. Narrated private history and historical experience survives in diaries, letters, and conversations. On behalf of myself and all future researchers, I would like to thank your Editorial Board in advance for the work they are doing here and now! It was an honor for me to be included in the Hungarian Video Hall of Fame with the portrait film you made. I would also like to thank them for their humane and professional attitude during the filming and the professionalism with which they created the film!
Sincerely,
Dr. Gabriella Gáspár

Thanks to you, from the beginning to the creation of the film, I felt encouragement and care around me. This tact helped me a lot in that I was able to leave satisfied and resolved. I speculated a lot on the way home about what kind of magic wand they used to make the movies, but I soon gave up. One important thing is that they have this knowledge!

I consider what they do to be demanding, high-level creative work and professional in all respects. It can only be mentioned and evaluated at a higher level. Their organization, the harmony between the dreamed goals and their realization, and the most modern technical execution are impressive. From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you on your value-saving, high-spirited collection, on your work that sets an example for the current world and the future, and addresses future generations. It was a special experience, a great honor to be among the invited guests and to convey some thoughts about the value of handwriting to those coming after us. God bless their work!

They created a very nice, family atmosphere. The editors received me fully prepared and focused on me. They made the process of the recording easier for me, and gave me a guiding thread during the conversation. The time spent there was spent in a comfortable, calm and harmonious milieu. It is an honor to be a member of a selected company with an outstanding career path. The quality and wide range of the completed films prove that we can meet a special palette and a unique initiative through the archive. They guard, protect, and take care of the thoughts, habitus, personality traits and style of each outstanding creative person in their own field. It can be a real experience to see the entire length of the completed materials. Thanks for letting me be a part of it!

Thank you once again for the opportunity to participate in this program and commemorate the beautiful and successful work in which an important bacterial metabolic process was discovered under domestic conditions and recognized in the international literature. Thank you also for the opportunity to see portraits of other people. Dear Mr. Film and Idea Manager!
I was delighted to receive our memorable and well-successful joint creation, for which I thank you very much for the idea, implementation and "inheritance".
Well, we were born to a difficult and struggling life, and our performance could never be truly released, not even by the new superlatives. But at least all of this is yours, and thanks to you, it will remain as an eternal monument, in a select, very valuable and authentic Society. Thank you very much, because it is true that those who are not forgotten do not pass away....those who were created for eternal life....
